RAN Engineer — Open Position

Job Title: RAN (Radio Access Network) Engineer
Location: Tustin, CA

About the Role
3S Network is seeking a RAN Engineer to support the design, integration, and optimization of radio access networks for our carrier and OEM clients, including current-generation 5G and O-RAN deployments alongside legacy technologies.

Responsibilities
– Engineering, testing, and supporting network
– GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G implementation, commissioning and integration and testing
– Using line sweep gear and analyzing the results
– Troubleshooting of HW related alarms
– Conducting site quality audit and technical site surveys as well as preparing site documentations and reports
– Implementation, Integration, and commissioning of RBS
– Restoration and Troubleshooting alarms for cell site
– Perform testing on RAN solution in accordance with RAN testing requirements
– Analyze traces and exceptions for worst cell troubleshooting (cell tracing analysis)
– Very little travel required (up to 5% to client sites)

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related Engineering field
– Minimum 2 years of experience in the job offered, or related
– Experience with: (1) WCDMA and LTE technology; (2) RBS 4G Ericsson; (3) RNC 4G Ericsson; and (4) Radio Signaling and Radio Network

Compensation: $86,000 per year
